We said, “We shall never forget.”
But have we remembered?
John Kerry said, “Remember the hours after September 11, when we came together as one? It was the worst day we have ever seen, but it brought out the best in all of us.”
It has been fifteen years since this tragedy, when we cried with each other, and we hugged strangers. What has happened to our country? We seem to have forgotten that strong feeling of unity, patriotism, and loyalty.
Have we become so jaded and harsh, that we don’t remember?
It is time to Make America Kind Again … one hug at a time.
