****** TODAY’s SPOTLIGHT ******
• Which source is the most reliable? Yesterday I reported that the US had passed. 100,000. Yesterday, Worldometers showed 100,572 American deaths. At 3:00 today, they showed American deaths at 101,508; at 5:00, they showed 101,815. CNN showed 99,724 at 3:00; 99,983 at 5:00. CDC showed 99,031 at 3:00 and 5:00 (updated at 12:45 pm.). At 5:00, Google News showed 100,940 deaths. Each is a snapshot of the info available to them at the moment. When we are looking at such big numbers, a difference of 2,500+/- doesn’t seem significant … except for the families affected.

* I updated the chart comparing MA and NH tests.
Depending on who you listen to, either yesterday or today, 100,000 Americans have died from COVID-19. Tomorrow I’ll look for more reasons to feel positive. Today I’m thinking of them.

In the meantime, stay safe, and always, be kind.
