- Salem Total: 269 confirmed cases

- Salem Today: 0 new cases, 45 active cases.
• • • • • TODAY’S SPOTLIGHT • • • • • •
- While numbers across the country continue to go up, New Hampshire’s numbers continue to stay relatively low.
- The number of people in Salem who have been infected has pretty much stabilized, with only two new cases in the last 2 weeks.
- 16.7% of those who have been infected in Salem are still waiting to be told that they have recovered.
- 78 more people in NH are reported as “recovered.”
- With more “recovered” than new cases, the number of active cases has decreased to less than 900. The number of active cases has not been this low since mid-April.
- While hospitalizations continue to go up most days (but not today!), the number of current hospitalizations is now less than 50. This is, by far, the lowest since this number has been reported. This is one of the metrics watched by the State, so this is, indeed, good news.
- I recommend reading this article, with stories of young, and previously healthy, COVID survivors. They no longer have the virus, but they have issues that will stay with them for the rest of their lives.

Salem and NH’s numbers still look good. I’m feeling positive and hopeful today! But I’m not letting down my guard, and hope you don’t, either. Please, stay safe, and always, be kind.
