Thumbs up to the kids at the Salem Boys & Girls Club, and whoever is working with these kids. (Parents, staff, school).
I have had the honor of being allowed to volunteer for their Thanksgiving Dinner for the past three years. Last week, more than ever, I was struck with the manners of the youth of Salem. Not only did I hear “yes, please” when asked it they wanted some food, they said “thank you” as it was put on their plate. And not only did they say thank you when served, many of them came back and thanked the volunteer servers again as they left.
Keep up the good work!
